About Block Escape Games
Block escape games start from a jam. Something is boxed in — a crate against a wall, a car buried three rows deep, a screw holding two layers together — and your job is to work out which piece has to move first. Tap the obvious one and the board usually punishes you with a collision or a wasted move.
The satisfying part is that these puzzles are entirely fair. Every blocker is visible before you touch anything, so a failed attempt is information rather than bad luck. Once you train yourself to trace a route backwards from the exit to the piece that is actually in the way, crowded boards stop looking impossible.
